This stand alone post illustrates the relationship path that links Rollo, Duke of Normandy to the Foord family, and ultimately, the Breach family.

There is theory that if we all look hard enough we can trace our ancestors back to William the Conqueror, so when researcher Christopher Green revealed that his Foord family ancestry could be traced back even further than William the Conqueror it made interesting reading.
The Foord family married into the Breach family in 1891 when Mary Jane Breach (b. 1871) married Albert Foord (b. 1865). Mary Jane was the third of eleven children born to David Breach (b. 1847) and Elizabeth Fairhall (b. 1845). Mary Jane was the elder sister of my Great Grandfather Albert Walter Breach (b. 1872).
The starting point for this relationship path is Rollo, Duke of Normandy and ends with Albert Foord, husband of Mary Jane Breach.
